Straight from Torbole: the Altissimo Tour
The Altissimo Tour officially starts in Torbole and takes you along a long tarmac climb via Busatte to the north-east ridge of Mount Varagna, before a technical descent past Malga Campei leads you back to the shore.

Via Nago: the classic Mount Altissimo ride
Just a few kilometres away, accessible via Nago, lie the legendary high-altitude trails of Mount Altissimo – technical, challenging, with views across the whole lake.
- Sentiero 601: Part of the historic Peace Trail dating from the First World War, one of the most technically demanding downhill trails in the Alps
- Coast Trail: gravelly, very steep in places, leads straight back to Torbole
- Val del Diaol/“The Skull”: the region’s first officially built downhill track, rocky, with jumps
Towards Riva: Tremalzo and Malga Grassi
Anyone wishing to venture deeper into the Ledro and Tenno mountains will find access to two more of the region’s classic routes in Riva del Garda.
