Arco is especially recommended as a place to see. Formerly the choice destination of the Austrian aristocracy, it still offers a lot. The famous medieval Castle of Arco, which dominates the valley, was reconstructed according to Dürer's drawings.
When not walking or cycling you should spend some time during your holiday on Lake Garda and visit Riva del Garda. In the narrow romantic alleys in the captivating center of Riva, you will find plenty of "shopping-potential" and welcoming restaurants, ideal for a cappuccino or an aperitif. A trip into the past will take you to the Bastion of Riva, a Venetian fortress. You may also want to see La Rocca, the town museum.
