Lake Garda region offers all this, more than any other place in Europe: amazing views over the Lake during most of the tours, picturesque roads and trails for all ability levels, restaurants and lodges serving delicious local foods. One of my favorite places is the AktivHotel SantaLucia - sporty and welcoming atmosphere, excellent service, Bike Service with Bike Wash, workshop and laundry, huge breakfast buffet and wine cellar. This is a very quiet location with direct access to the most beautiful tours in the east and north of Lake Garda. In summary: highly recommended."

"I have been traveling to Lake Garda for years, because of my job testing bikes, first for BIKE magazine, and now mainly for EMTB. Our tests take place mainly during the winter season. The climate is always mild and dry, perfect for winter training. When I can, I stay at Silvio’s at the AktivHotel SantaLucia. There, the trails start right at the doorstep. The hotel has everything a biker may want and the feeling is good. Thanks to the whole team for the great collaboration!"
